Datum Tools is a set of calculators for early-stage architectural design. An account is required to use any tool, but nothing you enter into a calculator — site areas, unit mixes, cost assumptions — ever leaves your device. Every calculation runs locally in your browser.

Your account

Signing in with Google, Apple, or email/password shares your name, email address, and profile photo (if your provider makes one available) with Datum Tools, stored via Firebase (Google Cloud). This identifies your account and whether it's unlocked. We do not sell this information or share it with anyone else.

Payments

Unlocking Datum Tools is billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or — if you unlock on the web — Stripe. Datum Tools does not see or store your payment details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools get used, so we know what to improve. This tracks page views and general usage patterns — never anything you actually enter into a calculator, which stays on your device as described above.
